The Pittsburgh Phantoms feel that cross-functional training is a necessity in the workplace. Having well rounded employees only strengthens us as an organization as a whole. The Phantoms feel that cross-functional training increases focus on creativity, in finding out and fulfilling both the customer wants and need. Cross-functional training forces the organization to let it’s employees have more critical decision making opportunities As an employee cross-functional training will help improve employees critical decision making skills, as well as self motivation, communication, and team work.
