Each customer experience is different, making it unique and one of a kid in nature. The needs assessment is the overarching tool that is used to identify the customers wants and needs.

​​A needs assessment is the systematic process for determining and addressing needs, or "gaps" between current conditions and desired conditions or "wants". It involves collecting information about an expressed or implied organizational need that could be met by conducting training. The need can be a desire to improve current performance or to correct a deficiency.
